The sad truth is that it's the end of the Palm Springs season. Tears. So my friends and I decided to make one last go of it before the busiest month of the year, October. A quick trip filled with Halloween planning, antique shopping, face masks, and a dip in the pool, we were having a hyper relaxing time. However, not before the earthquake...

Being the personalities we are we decided to bring a movie to watch our first night, an initiation to the weekend if you will. That movie was The Exorcist. You know, the one where her bed shakes like a quake. Well as luck, or un-luck, would have it there was a literal earthquake that shook the entire house right as the movie ended. Being native Californians we simple sat there looking at each other with eyes that read "this is how we die" only to have the quake end and us freaking out over the timing of it all. Unable to sleep we put on face masks and light hearted TV, to calm the nerves while we waited for the aftershock that never happened.

Cut to: The end of the trip feeling relaxed and refreshed. Pulse I managed to get some work done too. 👍🏻
